Federalist Society debate highlights pros, cons of voter ID laws
The Federalist Society highlighted arguments for and against photo identification requirements for voters during a Feb. 6, 2013, panel discussion in Raleigh. Speaking at the event are John Fund, national affairs columnist for National Review; Bob Hall, executive director of Democracy North Carolina; Allison Riggs, staff attorney for voting rights at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice; and Hans von Spakovsky, senior legal fellow and manager of the Civil Justice Reform Initiative at The Heritage Foundation.
